Refund policy

When money paid for Kaiku comes back, and how to ask for it. In short: a card payment within 14 days, in full, no questions asked.
Refunds
A card payment is refunded in full if you ask within 14 days of the charge — the first payment and every renewal alike, and no reason is needed. Write to hello@kaiku.tech, or ask Paddle at paddle.net or through the link in your receipt. The money goes back to the card it came from.
A refund ends the period that payment paid for on the day it is made. The workspace then becomes read-only, as when a subscription lapses, and nothing is deleted.
After 14 days a card payment is not refunded, but you can cancel at any time, and the next charge is then never taken.
Crypto payments are not paid back as money: a transfer on a blockchain cannot be reversed, and sending coins back would cost network fees twice. An overpayment, and the unused part of a period when you move to fewer users, become a balance on the workspace and are spent on your next invoice rather than kept by us. If you stop using Kaiku while a balance is on the workspace, it stays there and is available if you return.
A purchase made in the App Store or Google Play is refunded by Apple or Google under their own rules; ask through the store.
Where the law of your country gives you more than this — a right to withdraw from the purchase, for example — that right applies, and nothing here takes it away.
Card payments and Paddle
Card orders are processed by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for those orders: it takes the payment, charges and remits the sales tax or VAT that applies where you are, issues the receipt, and handles questions about the payment and returns. Your card details go to Paddle and never reach us. Paddle’s buyer terms, paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms, apply to the purchase as well.
A card subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, for the number of users it covers, until it is cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your workspace’s billing screen («Card, receipts and cancelling») or from the link in Paddle’s receipt. Cancelling stops the next charge; the workspace keeps working to the end of the period already paid for.
